Kazakh-British Technical University published a declaration on the concept of "Green University"

KBTU has published a declaration on the concept of "Green University". By publishing this declaration, Kazakh-British Technical University declares its commitment to Sustainable Development Goals, adopted by the UN in 2015, when conducting academic practices and managing internal work of the university.
According to the declaration, KBTU will continue to strengthen innovative and educational activities for the creation and implementation of projects and R&D with the attraction of funding and sets the following tasks:
- involvement of teachers, staff and students of KBTU in the implementation of the Green University concept
- attracting investments to improve the environmental infrastructure of KBTU
- introduction of innovative educational programs in the field of ecology and renewable energy sources and their support
- attracting new partners in the implementation of the Green University concept
- reaching the international level and disseminating the results of the Green University concept in Kazakhstan
