Kazakh-British Technical University won OSCE-supported green office contest

The Kazakh-British Technical University was included in the list of winners of the republican competition "Green Office 2021" in the field of education. On October 22, the award ceremony of the winners took place in Nur-Sultan. The award on behalf of KBTU was received by the acting Rector (Chairman of the Board) Maratbek Tulebergenovich Gabdullin.
The competition has been held since 2019 with the support of the OSCE Program Office in Nur-Sultan and the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan in ten nominations, where representatives of government institutions, education, healthcare, commercial and trade structures, industry, international organizations could take part, NGOs, etc.
The objectives of the competition are to promote an ecological lifestyle, "green" and low-carbon technologies to improve the environmental friendliness, comfort and ergonomics of public buildings, to disseminate best practices and technological solutions of advanced experience, and to brand environmentally responsible organizations.
