KBTU was a platform for the international forum of Kazenergy "ENERGY TRANSITION: DIALOGUE OF GENERATIONS" which was held in Almaty September 29 - Ocober 2, 2022. The aim of the forum to demonstrate the quality of the role of the new generation in the consumption of a low-carbon, safe and secure energy future.
KBTU speakers were presented in several panel sessions: "Digital Leadership – A New Phase and Opportunities", "Corporations & Start-Ups: How to Build Relationships", "Regional Kazakhstani Session: Technical University: Transition from Science to Industry".
It is becoming obvious that the future of energy sector is connected with the brand new digital technologies, robotics, artificial intelligence. Challenges of industries with digitalization of the processes also connected to human factor. Academia plays important role both in bringing innovative ideas and specialist who will make assets to the industry. New investment opportunities were discussed in the session and questions on how digitalization and artificial intelligence improve the functionality, performance, and increase overall quality and efficiency in the industry were raised by speakers from KBTU and oil-and-gas companies.
